THE FIFTH DI...The Fifth Di... has returned to Nomadic Delirium Press.
The Fifth Di... will, for now, be an annual magazine that will be published in both print and electronic formats. The next issue will be released in March of 2026. RESPONSE TIMESOur current response time is two months, but we will try to respond faster whenever possible. If you change your e-mail address, please let me know. There are always a few submissions that never get responses because the contributor changes their address. FICTIONFiction must be science fiction or fantasy, no horror, no exceptions. We're looking for original stories of at least 2,500 words. We will consider reprints, but the story will really have to blow us away. We will not consider simultaneous submissions.
FICTION PAYMENTSPayment for first rights will be $25 on publication.
BONUS PAYMENTSThis is small press, so we don't expect to sell tons of copies, but if the zine is able to sell more than 500 copies (print and electronic combined, but not including authors' copies), we will pay an additional $10 for each story. ARTWe are not currently seeking artwork. FORMATSAll submissions must be sent as attachments in Word or rtf. We will not read submissions that are sent pasted into messages. Every submission must contain the word "Submission" in its subjct line, or it will be flushed with all of the spam. We hate to start getting anal, but given the amount of Spam we have to sift through, it just makes our job easier, and a happy editor is always a good thing. Also, all submissions must follow standard ms guidelines...if you don't know what that means, please find out. Your name, byline, and address MUST appear on the submission. All submissions MUST have page numbers. If you want something italicized, please italicize it in the submission. Also, please include a bio with your submission written in the third person. Also, please note that the editor of this zine is J Erwine, not Tyree Campbell...so please address your submissions to J. FINAL NOTESDon't send work that is based in other people's universes. All works must be original with no threat of copyright infringement. Under no circumstances will we accept fiction that has been created by AI or that the author has used AI to help them create. Write your own stories. Don't steal other people's work by using AI.
